The Stout-Hearted Seven is about a family called the Sager’s who go on the Oregon Trail. Sadly the 4 Sager children’s parents die. So they go to live with the Whitmans, a kind couple who run the Whitman Mission. Then about about 3 years later there is a large massacre where some Indians attack the mission.
